Welcome to the Web site of the New York State Society of Municipal Finance Officers. My name is Peggy Henry and I am honored to be this year's President. Our organization is comprised of over 350 Municipal Officials throughout New York State who work in the field of Municipal Finance. In 1957 this organization was started to promote the exchange of information and ideas to improve the professional manner in which we do our jobs. We sponsor seminars, print newsletters, give out educational scholarships and take an active part in planning the NYCOM Fall Training School.
